I had a wonderful stay at Dar El Jeld, where the location was perfect for exploring the Medina. The hotel is stunning, featuring spacious rooms and a beautiful rooftop terrace with amazing views. However, the spa experience did leave something to be desired, as the services were not up to par. Overall, I'd highly recommend this boutique hotel for a unique experience in Tunis.

Rooms

I stayed in two different rooms during my visit, both of which were spacious and comfortable. Room 4 felt like an apartment with separate living areas, while room 32 was still larger than average hotel rooms.

The hotel features a lovely spa and peaceful courtyard, though I was disappointed with the quality of the spa services I received.

My stay at Dar El Jeld was mostly enjoyable but came with a few hiccups. The stunning architecture and luxurious room made me feel pampered, though the spa experience didn't quite live up to expectations. The location was ideal for exploring the Medina, and overall, the service was commendable. I would return, but I'd skip the spa next time.

Rooms

My suite was beautifully decorated, spacious, and felt luxurious. It had a dedicated living area, a large bathroom with a double sink, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, though there were very few hangers in the wardrobe.
Service
8.0
The staff were warm and welcoming, helping to make my experience pleasant. However, some service during dinner at the rooftop restaurant was slow, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location in the heart of the Medina is fantastic, making it easy to explore local shops and historical sites. It's the best spot if you want to immerse yourself in the culture.
Dining

Breakfast on the rooftop was decent, but the dining options could be more varied. Dinner was good, although I found it a bit pricy compared to other places in the area.
Facilities

While the facilities within the hotel, including the beautiful rooftop terrace, were great, my experience at the spa was underwhelming, especially considering the high prices.

The location is fantastic. just a short walk from the bustling Medina, yet the hotel itself is a peaceful oasis. The service was really good, though I found some of the dining options to be a bit off at times. Overall, I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the charm of Tunis.

The spacious suite had all the amenities I could ask for, though I found the dining in-room service lacking in quality. Overall, it felt like a serene escape in the heart of the Medina.
